College Hill is a beautiful, urban neighborhood surrounding the College of the Holy Cross in South Worcester. College of the Holy Cross is a private, four-year undergraduate Jesuit college founded in 1843. This liberal arts school was the first Jesuit college in New England.

College Hill is unique to Worcester in that almost everyone living there is a renter. Residential real estate in College Hill real estate is primarily made up of small (studio to two bedrooms) homes and mobile homes, though there are some condos listed in the area as well. These gorgeous rental properties are in high demand. It is hard to find a vacancy! The residences in College Hill are established, but not as historic as some of the homes found in nearby neighborhoods. The majority of them were built within the last 45 years, between 1970-1999. Because College Hill is comprised of almost all renters, there are no average real estate estimates available for sales. College Hill is a lively town with plenty of activities for everyone to do. You can grab a drink and a burger at Herbie's on Southbridge Street, eat breakfast at Culpepper's Bakery & Cafe or go for a hike at Middle River Park, which is located behind College of the Holy Cross, off of MeKeon Road.
