Indian Lake is a shallow body of water in North Worcester. Also known as North Pond, the maximum depth for Indian Lake is fifteen feet, while the average depth is eight feet. The shoreline along Indian Lake is heavily developed with residential dwellings and commercial buildings. Indian Lake provides beautiful scenery for its neighborhood. Residents living in the Indian Lake neighborhood are both owners and renters, though there are slightly more renters than owners. The real estate in Indian Lake is made up of small (studio to two bedroom) to medium (three or four bedroom) small apartment buildings, townhouses/co-ops, condos and single-family homes. The average real estate price in Indian Lake is approximately $196,218 and the average rental price is currently $1,013.

Indian Lake is a suburban neighborhood, filled with gorgeous Victorian-, colonial-, and bungalow-style homes. The great outdoors is a huge part of life in the Indian Lake neighborhood. There are three parks found along the banks of Indian Lake. On the northern side is Shore Park. Located on Shore Drive, Shore Park is a five acre beach that is open to the public from July 1 until the end of August, from noon until 7 p.m. Morgan Park is found on the southwestern side of Indian Lake off of Grove Street. Morgan Park is small, but includes a boating, a bike path, tennis courts and a picnic area. On the east side of the lake is Indian Lake Park, a public beach with a gorgeous view. Indian Lake Park is off of Clason Road.
